Owen Rasmussen

Owen Rasmussen, a graduate of Concordia St. Paul, is Community of Hope’s Director of Youth Ministries.  Owen leads many youth activities including Bible Studies, Youth Band, and Ultimate Frisbee.  After spending some time in a hammock, Owen currently resides in Seven Hills with his wife Dana. 
1.  Something you like about COH: I love being at Community of Hope!  It's so great to see a group of people that come together focused on God and nothing else.  I am attracted to both the strong sense of family and the devote nature of what we do.
2. Favorite Music: I like quite a bit of music.  My favorite artist is The Orange County Supertones.  I also spend time listening to Big Band, Jam music, Broadway, and most things Rock.
 

3. Favorite TV Shows: Lost, 30 Rock, Modern Family.  I also highly enjoying watching the CAVS (and have for years, I'm not just a fair weather fan.)
4. Favorite Book: I'd have to say my favorite book is The Lord of the Rings series.
 

5. Last Book you read: Videopia, the book.
 

6.Hobbies: Rock Climbing, Ultimate Frisbee, Music production, Sound engineering, Photography, Coaching Lacrosse, Guitar, Swing Dancing, Hiking, Videography
7. Favorite Bible Verse: Romans 5:8  -  "but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us"
8. Place you would like to go someday: Nepal.  Annapurna Circuit  
9. Something you would like to do before you die: Have kids.
10. Places you've traveled outside the US: New Zealand, Austria.
